Picture Books

Please note that most books can be used for all the traits. Often one trait will jump out more than others to the reader. Go with the trait the speaks to you! Or…start with what speaks to me until you become more comfortable to try others.

I also use most books for all ages. There will be some that are more suitable for older students, but even the most simple books can be used for older students. It’s then about looking at what the author does to create the connection to each trait.

Enjoy reading aloud to your students, no matter what age! (And they will enjoy it, too!)
